If you're vegan you're going to be obsessed with this!
This garlic teriyaki sweet tofu only takes 10 minutes, but earns full marks on flavor, texture, and presentation! Aromatic sesame and garlic mingle with deep umami notes from the soy sauce and slight sweetness of maple syrup to make this an irresistible main dish. The teriyaki sauce is also perfect on vegetables, fried rice, or almost anything -- a great recipe to have in your back pocket.

- A2tbsp soy sauce
- A2tbsp maple syrup

Chop the green onions.
- 2
Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces and score the sides. Lightly coat all sides with starch.

- 3
Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan and pan-fry the tofu. Do not move it around in the pan or it will break! Once the bottoms are golden brown, flip them over and continue to cook until browned all over.
