This is an adaptation of the traditional European appetizer, Prosciutto e Melone, combining the sweetness of melon with the saltiness of prosciutto. Despite a simple and quick prep, it looks elegant enough for entertaining and parties.
The fresh, elegant sweetness of the melon and the rich, aged saltiness of the prosciutto enhance each other's flavors, making this an excellent appetizer with wine or champagne.
