Updated On

A rich, meaty pasta dish that requires just one pan—and no chopping! The ground pork is seared in a block, then broken apart for hearty texture, while the tomatoes and cheese bring everything together in perfect harmony.

It’s incredibly simple, yet tastes like something you’d order at a restaurant. A must-try weeknight pasta!

Tips & Notes

・Break the pasta in half before adding to the pan. Cook for the package time plus 1 extra minute, stirring well at the beginning and end. Best with 7-minute pasta.
・If the liquid evaporates too quickly and the pasta is still too firm, add more water and continue cooking.
・Searing the pork in one block first adds extra flavor and a meaty texture. Roughly break up both the pork and tomatoes as they simmer.
・An easy trick: fill the empty tomato can with water once—it equals exactly 1 2/3cups (400 ml), so there's no need for a measuring cup !
・This recipe uses US cups (1 cup = approx. 240ml).
