- 9 oz chicken tenderloins (sasami)
- 3 1/2 oz frozen broccoli
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp. potato starch (or cornstarch)
- 1 tbsp. sesame oil
- A1 tbsp. Japanese mayonnaise
- A2 tsp. sake
- A2 tsp. oyster sauce
- A1/4 tsp. grated garlic or garlic paste
INSTRUCTIONS

Add frozen broccoli to a heatproof bowl, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes. Pat dry with paper towels and cut large pieces into bite-size florets if necessary. Trim any thick tendons from the chicken tenderloins, cut into bite-size pieces, and season lightly with salt and pepper. Coat evenly with potato starch.

Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 4 minutes, until golden brown. Add the broccoli and cook for another 1–2 minutes.

Combine (A) ingredients (mayonnaise, sake, oyster sauce, and garlic), pour into the pan, and toss quickly to coat everything evenly. Turn off the heat and serve.
