Perfect with Rice and Drinks! Easily Prepared in a Plastic Bag

This power-packed chicken stimulates the appetite!

Made simply by rubbing chicken thigh with a special salt sauce and pan-frying, it only takes 10 minutes, so you can quickly make it even on busy days. Using a plastic bag also reduces cleanup and saves time!

The punchy garlic and chicken stock sauce gets an exquisite accent from the spicy tobanjan (chili bean paste). It is incredibly easy to make and pairs perfectly with rice for an irresistible, hearty meal.

Tips & Notes

・If you dislike tobanjan, you can omit it! If available, adding a little miso will enhance the flavor.
・If you freeze the chicken after marinating for meal prep, transfer it to the refrigerator to defrost naturally before frying.
・To reheat, use the microwave or toaster oven!
・I used a 10.2-inch (26 cm) frying pan.
・Shelf life: 3–4 days in the refrigerator, 30 days in the freezer (including the pre-marinated freeze).
