- 5 oz thinly sliced pork (or pork belly scraps)
- 1 /2 Japanese long green onion (or 1/4 of an onion, finely chopped)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 1/2 cup cooked rice (preferably day-old or cooled)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 tsp. Extra butter for topping
- A2 tsp. butter
- A1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
- A1/2 tsp. soy sauce
- AA few shakes of MSG
INSTRUCTIONS

Spread the cooked rice in a bowl and let it cool slightly to keep the fried rice from becoming soggy. Chop the pork into small pieces. Finely chop the onion and garlic.

Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the pork, garlic, and onion, and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until fragrant and lightly browned.

Add the rice and all (A) ingredients (butter, bouillon, soy sauce, and MSG) . Increase to high heat and stir-fry quickly to mix everything evenly. Taste and adjust with salt as needed.

Serve in bowls, top with an extra pat of butter, and sprinkle with black pepper to finish.
