  • 1 /2 Japanese long onion, minced
  • 2 stalks of green onions, finely chopped
  • white sesame seeds, for topping
  • ground black pepper, for topping

    1 tbsp. chicken bouillon powder

    1 tsp. salt, to taste

    1 tsp. sesame oil

    1 tsp. lemon juice

    1 tsp. grated garlic

    1 tsp. potato starch

INSTRUCTIONS

    Cut the pork belly slices into roughly 2-inch-long pieces.

    Heat a frying pan (no oil needed) over medium-high heat and sauté the pork until fully cooked. Wipe away excess fat using a paper towel.

    Mix all A sauce ingredients (water, bouillon, salt, sesame oil, lemon juice, garlic, and potato starch) together, then pour into the pan with the pork. Stir to coat evenly.

    Add the minced Japanese long onion and chopped green onions, and stir quickly to combine.

    Serve over a bowl of rice. Generously sprinkle with white sesame seeds and freshly ground black pepper.
